Deep in the Heart of Texas
OK. Let's Talk: We are back in the Lonestar State!!!!
I have been MIA for the past few weeks because it has been such a crazy move! Where do I start? Well, the day that we packed everything up into the moving truck I woke up feeling like straight up death. I was soooo sick so I was totally useless to the world and especially to Chris because he, Zander, Todd moved everything into the van while my sweet parents packed things up. Me? I was lifeless on the couch. After being asked if I was pregnant more times than I care to share that day, by the afternoon I thought I was feeling better. False. By 9pm I felt even worse than earlier. So I went to bed with the hopes that I wouldn't wake up and begin our 22 hour drive feeling as bad as I did. Not the case. I woke up and was queezy and uncomfortable but decided I could make the drive in the car. If any of you have made a roadtrip while being sick you know the misery I was in. Apparently I had some 72 hour bug so this continued every single day until we got to Texas. Awesome.
However, it wasn't ALL horrible because the first night we got to stay at my Aunt Ruth and Uncle Bob's house in Silverthorne, Colorado. Their house is on the side of a mountain has the best view in the entire world. I love going to their house because it's beautiful and my aunt literally makes the best food of your life. Not that I could enjoy the filet mignon, sweet corn and grilled veggies that she made for us. Instead I was barely able to choke down some toast.
Anyway, we finally got to Texas after 3 days in the car! Right when we got here we began our search for an apartment in a non-ghetto area. It took a couple of days but we did manage to find a good place! And don't worry, it's not a matchbox sized house like our last one :) We move in on Monday after they finish replacing the carpet. I intend to do a little painting tomorrow before we move our stuff in. I'll post pictures asap.
Since we've been in Tejas we have:

Since we've been in Tejas we have:
- reunited with Chad and Sarah (huzzah)
- Eaten HEB salsa with probably each and every meal
- Gone to a Rangers game
- Had a lake day with the Spitzers which made me realize that mama Spitzer is truly my favorite of them all
- gone to Whataburger (which is the single most glorious fast-food place in Texas) If I didn't care about being a fatty I would eat there every day
Reunited with Sarahhhh
I took more pictures with Sarah than with my own husband
Rangers Stadium
Don't worry that I still can't figure out how to rotate pictures

25 things about Al Roker? I'll Pass, thanks.
Ok. Let's Talk: 25 Things you probably didn't know about me OR our favorite weatherman, Al Roker.
So I was reading OK! magazine last night and I came across the most pointless page in the entire magazine. It was entitled "25 Things You Didn't Know About Al Roker". um, seriously? Al Roker was the person you chose to fulfill our lives with 25 ridiculous facts about him that probably no one aside from Meredith Viera and Matt Lauer could possibly care about? You couldn't choose someone that American gossip magazine fiends (such as myself) would be interested in? For example, onelame,er so very interesting fact about good ol' Al is that he hates coconut. Oh thank goodness I know about that now! And, let me just tell you that I was dying to know about his insecurities that even though he lost 140 pounds he still sees himself as fat? Is this a joke? This is a gossip magazine, people. AKA we don't care about Al Roker. We care about Kardashians, supermodels and teenage Disney cast-member angst. Sorry Al, you didn't fit the bill.
So, in response to his 25 facts about himself I decided that I would do my own (of only 10 though) and maybe they won't be as dumb as his, but then again, maybe they will.
1. Bees are the spawn of Satan. I hate them. We could live without honey and just let all the butterflies do the pollinating in my opinion.
2. I don't like when you open the door for someone and they don't say "thank you". It's rude. You're welcome.
3. Before I got married and only had a tiny little closet that caused me to give away my shoes I had probably 50 pairs of high heels alone. My mother called me Imelda Marcos. Bottom Line: I like shoes.
4. I'm obsessed with dogs. All dogs. My dream pup is a German Shepard, but I'll take what I can get
5. If I could have any job in the entire world it would be a tie between being a florist or being a dolphin trainer. Aim for the stars, huh? But for now I'll stick with a legitimate Biology degree and go from there
6. I'm super ticklish but when I get tickled, I immediately get mad and flail my body in all directions. Just ask Chris, it's borderline dangerous to tickle me
7. I really miss ballet. Sometimes I put on my pointe shoes just to remember what they feel like.
8. I really like road trips
9. Grindlewald, Switzerland is my favorite place on earth. Go there. You won't regret it.
10. I hate the dark. I always turn on lights.
11. (I know I said 10 but I added a freebie) Ugly babies are a legitimate fear of mine. I laugh at them but in all reality I'm also very terrified of them.
Ok! That's it! 11 things about me! Maybe you learned a new fact about me. Maybe you didn't. Either way, if you got this far in reading this post then you cared enough to at least attempt to learn a thing or two about Cheyenne Morris.

Moving is a Nightmare
So most of you know that Chris and I are re-locating to Dallas next week (insert tear here).
But if you don't know that. Welp, ya do now.
All this having been said, let's resort back to the title of my blog post: Moving is a Nightmare
Why is it a nightmare, you ask? Well, because I hate clutter. With a passion. Loathe it. And what happens when you move? Everything turns into one giant clutter pile. So each morning when I wake up I have a mini panic attack while looking at my house. Ask me how many times I have stubbed my toe on random boxes/bags just trying to get to the bathroom? I'll tell you. A total of 5 times and counting.
Here is a picture of our house right now.
Granted, most of our decorations are already in boxes and maybe this doesn't look all that bad to you, but trust me when your house is 500 square feet and you have nowhere to go. It's miserable
Now, here is a picture of our bedroom
And this was AFTER cleaning up the room as much as possible
Oh, you noticed that our bed and couch are covered in stuff? And you want to know how we sleep?
Like this. On the floor of our room. using a towel as a blanket. Real tender, huh?
1. I don't know how to rotate my pictures on here. Sorry. I'm technologically illiterate
2. We are pretending to be asleep in this picture but I'm trying not to laugh
3. Ok, so you can't exactly see that we are on the floor or the brown towel that is being used as a blanket, but it's all there
Anyway, moving quite a process. Even though we don't have a whole lot of stuff, it's a pain to have to lovingly wrap all of our knick-knacks in bubble wrap and tissue paper. And don't forget having to be frequent shoppers at Lowe's every day to get more tape and boxes.
I'm sad to leave our amazing friends that we have made here in Utah, but we're very excited to make our way back to the Lonestar State. So bring on the 104 degree weather (yep, I looked up the exact weather forecast in Dallas), BBQ, Rangers games and especially my beloved Whataburger :)
